Algonquin Park.
A cold day, -10^c, also very dark outside.
I'd like to say that I trekked through the wintry woods for days to get this photo...but, someone mentioned that a pine marten was hanging out by the garbage cans of one of the parking lots in the park. When I drove in, I noticed about 20 photographers, in paparazzi formation, taking photos of the camera loving marten.
I've attached a map, I've created. Note that Michigan, Ohio, and Pennsylvanian do not have many, or any, martens. Hunting, and the 19th century fur trade, eliminated martens from those areas.
